About Stitchopia
Our story, our mission, and the passionate makers behind your favorite embroidery designs.
Our Story
Stitchopia began in 2020 as a passion project between makers who loved watching a design come to life under the needle. What started as a small collection of digitized motifs quickly grew into a comprehensive library of machine embroidery designs loved by embroiderers of all skill levels.
Our founder, Sarah Wilson, bought her first embroidery machine expecting a shortcut β and found a whole craft instead. She wanted to create a resource that treats machine embroidery seriously: real stitch counts, honest difficulty ratings, and files that are ready to sew.
Today, Stitchopia hosts hundreds of free designs, each published with the details that matter β size, stitch count, color sequence and recommended hoop β so you know exactly what will happen before you press start.
Our Mission
At Stitchopia, we believe an embroidery machine turns fabric into a canvas. Our mission is to provide high-quality, free machine embroidery designs β along with practical guides on formats, stabilizers and hooping β that help makers of every skill level get clean, satisfying stitch-outs.
Creativity
We curate diverse designs for every taste β from quick 4Γ4 motifs to dense, detailed showpieces.
Craftsmanship
Every design page lists real stitch data β counts, density, color changes β because good stitch-outs start with good information.
Accessibility
We believe everyone should be able to stitch, which is why our designs and guides are free for all.
